What we buy
- Rings, chains, bracelets and earrings in 10k, 14k, 18k, 22k or 24k gold
- Broken or damaged pieces: single earrings, snapped chains, bent bands. Condition doesn't matter, because we pay for the gold itself
- Dental gold, gold watch cases and gold-filled items (we'll tell you honestly if a piece isn't worth sending)
- Unmarked pieces: not sure if it's real? Send photos anyway. Testing is what we do
How your offer is calculated
Every piece is weighed and tested against the live gold market on the day it arrives. We price by weight and purity, or at melt value, whichever pays you more, and you keep 80–90% of your items' value. A pawn shop typically hands you 60% or less. The difference on a single 14k chain can be a hundred dollars or more.
How to sell your gold jewellery from home
Photograph your pieces (our photo guide shows you how), send the free assessment form, and we'll reply with an honest range, usually within one business day. If the lot is worth pursuing, we mail you a prepaid, insured shipping kit. Accept the written offer and get paid; decline and everything ships back, insured.
Common questions
Is my gold insured in the mail?
Yes. The kit we send is tracked and insured in both directions, and high-value lots ship with a specialist insured carrier.
Do you buy gold-plated jewellery?
Generally no, because plating contains only a trace of gold. Send photos anyway if unsure; the assessment is free and we'll tell you straight.
